About energy healing

I think it's sad that society is so skeptical when it comes to energy healing. Of course nothing should be believed blindly, but some level of openness would be beneficial. Nothing new can be learned if you don't even take a look.

A common misconseption is that if science can't explain something then it can't be real. But science is evolving all the time. There are massive amounts of things we don't understand in science. For example scientist don't understand what is lightning! They thought they did, but recently they found out that they have been wrong in their assumptions. So if they don't understand something so commonplace then how much are there things in universe we don't understand. My quess: A lot!

"Well, but common sense tells me that energy healing is surely not real!" Hmm..can you really be so sure that with common sense you can know what is real and what is not? Few hundread years ago common sense told you that earth is flat. It was obvious, and still is if you don't go to school and learn otherwise. So there are things which go against common sense and are still real. Universe is much more complex and incredible than you can imagine.

At first energy healing might sound irrational to the extreme. Invisible energies, no touch healing..distant healing. Of course it seems bizarre at first. But consider that the human energy system is nothing new, it has been mapped in china 5000 years ago. And this system is still used in acupuncture today with a lot of success.

When you couple the knowledge from the east with the knowledge from quantum physics, which tells that distance is just illusion and that everything is truly connected THEN things like distant healing start to make sense. It is all scientific, it's just very new science which we are just starting to understand.

Sometimes you hear a comment that the effectiveness of these modalities lies solely on the placebo effect. Placebo is very powerful drug, maybe more powerful than any real drug so of course this claim might have some validity to it. But..energy healing works just as well or even better on animals. So there's more going on here than just placebo effect.

So what's my point..I encourage you to be open and try things before you decide if something is real or not. You might be amazed. Don't believe blindly anything you hear or read. Indluding this. Use your own power of perception and decide for yourself which is real and which is not.

Blind faith is after all...blind.

I'm absolutely certain that in the future doctors and energy healers will be working together. How long this takes is a mystery, and depends on how long it takes for science to start to research these modalities and see that they truly do work.

So I believe we need doctors and healers of other modalities. They can complement each others work brilliantly. So I recommend that first you go to doctor and if they don't know what's wrong(they'll usually give you pain killers or depression drugs if they are not sure what's wrong) then you should go to energy healer.

I'm not putting down doctors here. They do marvellous things and if my appendix bursts then I'll be heading to a surgery for sure. But they don't know everything and many pains and aches are complete mystery to them. So I think that we need more than just the chemical approach that doctors have.
